Pesticide Notification
Through February to March of 2008 Council will be undertaking annual spot spraying and broadleaf spraying of weeds throughout Council open space and roadsides. Signage will indicate areas where spraying has been undertaken. This will include public parks, sporting fields and cemeteries. As follows are areas that spot and broadleaf spraying will occur;
Public Parks & Public Sporting Fields Cemeteries
Coronation Park, Walker Park, Banjo Paterson Park, Victoria Park, Riverbank Park, O’Connor Park, Henry Lawson Park, Murrumbateman Rec Ground, John O’Brien Park, Gundaroo Rec Ground, Boree Log Park, Bowning Rec Ground, Yass Lawn Cemetery, Bookham Rec Ground, Yass Old Cemetery, Binalong Rec Ground, Binalong Cemetery, Sutton Rec Ground, Murrumbateman Cemetery, Bowning Cemetery, Gundaroo Cemetery .

Southern Slopes Noxious Plant Authority
Southern Slopes Noxious Plant Authority will undertake spraying of Council roadsides, intersections, guide rails, traffic islands, drains, streets, and miscellaneous areas through February to March 2008.
