Barton Highway Future Duplication

The Australian Government is funding the planning process for the future duplication of the single carriageway sections of the Barton Highway from the ACT border and the existing dual carriageways north of Murrumbateman. The RTA has identified a corridor along which various studies and investigations will occur. This will assist the RTA in determining revised road boundaries for the future duplication. A public display of the corridor was held in May 2008. Answers are provided to questions asked at the public display about the future duplication of the Barton HIghway.
