New Amenities Building at Joe O'Connor Park

Council is pleased to advise that construction of the amenities building at Joe O'Connor Park in Yass is due to commence in February.
It is expected that the new facility will be completed and operational by September 2009.
During construction it will be necessary to remove the existing toilet block. Portable toilet facilities will be made available until the amenities building is ready for use. Vehicle access to the netball courts will be restricted between February and September while construction takes place.
Council has endeavoured to keep inconvenience to a minimum during this time, please exercise patience while the building process is underway. Yass Valley Council looks forward to presenting a new amenities building which will meet the needs of sporting and school groups at the official opening in September (date to be advised).
