Section 355 Committees - Nomination Information

Community Section 355 Committees provide invaluable advice and support to Council on a range of issues, services and activities. They also help to ensure that you can actively contribute towards the planning and delivery of Council facilities and services.
Nominations are currently sought from interested community representatives to participate on the following Section 355 Committees:
- Yass Valley Water Committee
- Yass Valley Access and Safety Committee
- Burrinjuck Family Day Care Advisory Committee
- Murrumbateman Old School Grounds and Library Committee
- Yass Valley Saleyards Committee
- Yass Valley Development Corporation
- Yass Valley Home Living Support Service Advisory Committee
- Yass Soldiers Memorial Hall Committee
- Yass Valley Youth Council
- Yass Valley Sports Council
- The Mullion Recreation Grounds Committee
- Wee Jasper Community Association
- Binalong Pool Committee
- Murrumbateman Recreation Reserve and Grounds Committee
- Murrumbateman Early Childhood Centre Association Committee
- Sutton Hall Precinct Committee
- Victoria Park Tennis Courts Committee
Existing members of all Community Section 355 Committees are encouraged to renominate for positions. Nomination forms will be mailed to current committee members.
For persons interested in becoming a committee member, nomination forms and further information about the functions, term of membership and meeting times may be viewed below, or by telephoning Council's Community Development Manager, Cathy Campbell on 6226 9285.
Nominations will close at 5.00 pm on Friday 24 April 2009.
