Register of Donations and Expenditure Declarations

The Local Government Planning Legislation Amendment (Political Donations) Act 2008 commenced on 15 September 2008. This Act inserts Section 328A into the Local Government Act.
Section 328A of the Local Government Act 1993 provides that the General Manager is required to keep a public register of current donations and expenditure declarations lodged by councillors with the Election Funding Authority of NSW. The following link to the Election Funding Authority website directs members of the public who wish to inspect this public register of all current donations and expenditure declarations lodged by councillors.
